The programme committee would like to invite the submission of abstracts, for either oral or poster presentation during the event.
The key theme of GFN 2018 is ‘Rethinking Nicotine’. The programme will include plenary sessions, symposia, panel discussions and poster presentations – including video posters. When submitting an abstract, please indicate the category of presentation you propose.
The programme committee will use selected abstracts to construct themed sessions over the coming months. Authors will be informed if their abstract has been accepted before the posting of the near-final programme by 22nd April 2018.
The conference has two main tracks: Science and Policy, Advocacy and Practice.
Sessions will be planned around both the submissions received, with some additional speakers invited to present.
Addressing the theme of the conference ‘Rethinking Nicotine’, submissions are invited from any relevant field including (but not restricted to) policy analysis, epidemiology and modelling, laboratory science, social science (including economics, psychology and cultural studies), market analysis, the consumer experience, advocacy, regulation and law, and health services research.
The list below identifies some possible topics, although the list is not exhaustive.
Abstracts should be submitted on-line, via the conference registration system. You will first need to create a user account before you can submit.
