#GFN18 Programme

The theme for GFN18 is ‘Rethinking Nicotine’, reflecting the appetite that now exists to examine the changing methods and patterns of use, along with the emerging science relating to nicotine. A detailed programme is available here.

The formal programme will take place Friday 15th and Saturday 16th June 2018. The programme will be updated regularly and you can receive information by registering for GFN updates here (with information about the conference, the Nicotine Science and Policy website also provides daily updates - news, research, comment and policy analysis on nicotine containing products, in particular nicotine delivery devices such as electronic cigarettes).

In addition there will be a number of associated side events, commencing on Thursday 14th June – including the second International Symposium on Nicotine Technology (ISoNTech),  and meetings organised by the International Network of Nicotine Consumer Organisations (INNCO), and the first GFN Film Festival, organised in association with Attention Era Media, the makers of ‘A Billion Lives’.

On Thursday 14th June, in the evening, we will have the fifth Michael Russell Memorial Oration, followed by the presentation of the GFN awards and the conference social event, to which all GFN2018 participants are invited.

Networking is a key element of GFN and there will be a reception for all participants, with drinks and canapés, in the conference venue, immediately following the close of proceedings on Friday 15th June.
